powerball techno

hey, ive just bought a powerball techno - my first one but thought they looked cool! hmm, mayb should have started with the normal one.. anyway, all i can get is 'NDS POWERBALL' to scroll across where the score is meant to be - is this because im not doing it fast enough? one of my friends can get a score to come up (prob cos he's a guy so he can obv do it faster than me, but still - didn't think i was that weak!) - how fast do u have to make it go to get a score?
also, because my hands are quite small i find it difficult to hold it once it gets too fast as it starts slipping out of my hand so i have to adjust it with my other hand to keep from dropping it and by that time its slowed down again! argh!

THe solution on the grip is to get some grip liquid like SurGrip. My better half has the same probelm as she has small hands, and the only way she can get higher speeds is with grip liquid.

oh yeh, also to explain myself a bit more - i can get the first red light to come on and quite often the second one too, but still only says powerball insteead of the score...:(

The liquid stuff i use is called SurGrip, as mentioned before, but there are lots of other Liquid Magnesiums you can use. Surgrip costs me only £2.50 delivered to my door. I buy it on e-bay from a supplier. I will see if i can find a link. No idea if he ships the stuff outside of the UK, but he might do.
If not just type SurGrip into Google and see what you find, it relly is very cheap.
Sorry i can't help on the other questions as i know very little about the techno ball.

Hi Lioness. The Techno is one of the smallest Powerballs because it doesn't have an external counter. As long as you make sure it's clean and dry, and your hands are cleanly washed with warm water and soap, you ought to find it's okay to grip. You'll soon notice your grip getting stronger too, and it'll be easier, plus your technique will improve and this will make it easier as well.

As for the Techno, it does sound like you're not quite spinning it fast enough. Once you get two LEDs on, do your best to spin it a little faster, and then you might notice the LEDs flashing. Slow it down and you'll see your score.

Please note though, if your friend has spun it and registered a score, you'll want to make sure the Techno has completely stopped before you give it a try. Otherwise your score won't register properly unless you beat your friend's score.
