Ok I have been powerballing for a while now, but it was only a little while ago I finally managed to brake through the 13k barrier on my Neon Blue Powerball. In doing so I figured out a technique that has helped my increase my score on both my Metal Powerball and Neon blue one.

I start off doing about 10-20 mins on the metal one (get your arms warmed up), then I'll go for a high score, usually I get a little below my best.
Now I quickly stop my metal and switch over to my neon blue, get that going using your weaker arm (give your power arm a quick rest, and a shake about) then go for a high score on the Neon blue, almost always I beat my old high score.

Now quickly swap back to the metal powerball, as before get it going with your weaker hand, then go for a high score. More often than not I beat my metal high score. :)

Now I just keep doing this until my arms get to tired to spin the powerballs fast enough.

I hope this technique helps you guys get higher scores.:)

I would recommend to rest at least 15 minutes between each trying to beat a speed record, after trying one, usually almost all my fingertips are reddish.

I have 2 blisters, 1 in each "fat finger" from using the powerball, so, do not overdo it (my powerball affects my blisters even running it at 10.000 rpm or less for a long time, but I have a unbalanced powerball, maybe with a new one without vibrations the problem could be solved :P)

I've been making some remarkable speed and endurance improvements lately, and I think it's because I'm mixing it up between 30, 60 and 90s endurance, and speed runs, using both my Metal and Plastic, switching from one to the other, and back again.

The other evening I warmed myself up with some gentle 90s and speed runs, and then I went all out on a one-handed 90s run with my plastic. (Scored 16914 too, which I was very pleased with). Straight away I increased my plastic speed record by almost 200 rpm. Then I increased my Metal record by a similar amount. Then I upped my speed record by another 100 rpm. Then I increased my 90s endurance record by 300 revs. I also smashed my one-hand 30s record by 300 revs too, which is averaging 600 rpm more!!

Sorry i have posted this also as a new thread!

I've just beaten my pb on my new metal powerball....the technique...slap on a set of ur mums washing up gloves!....the constant problem i had was the shiny metalball slipping out of my hand at high speed, though i felt that i still had strength left.

Not sure if this is classed officially as cheating or not, though i suppose some have sweatier mitts than others. Also my mate is a rockclimber and he uses climbing 'chalk' which absorbes the sweat from the hands, thus increasing grip!

My score was incidentally was : 10283
