Techo rotor vibrations

My techno has now started to make horrendous vibrations when building up speed. It has got to the point that at over the 9k mark it becomes painful to use. I've only just installed a new support band on it about 2 weeks ago. So it can't be anything do to with that, as that came with new washers too.

I think I'll send it back to RPM for repair, as there appears to be nothing I can do at present to fix it.

On the plus side, i decided to get a neon pro to keep me going until the techno gets repaired

Can you take a look at the rotor, particularly where the fins meet the outer surface of the rotor and see if you notice any cracks in the rotor itself?

If you do, please send me an email and I'll get a replacement rotor out to you.

Hey Enda,

I have had a look at the rotor as you suggested. I was aware of something rattling while i was turn the rotor around by hand. I noticed a tiny sliver of black plastic fall from the rotor.

So on further examination I opened the reed switch end of the techno rotor and found that the central plastic shaft is all cracked. I have included a photo of this. If this is not normal, then let me know and I'll email you on monday to get a replacement rotor sent out.
