I was wondering if Powerball could increase my hand coordination...

Hand coordination is really important to be a good guitar player... and i want to be one...:D

Hi Spok,

Welcome to the forum! I would definitely get a Powerball if I were you. It helps in all types of sports and activities. I am not a guitar player, but I have read that it definitely improves one's guitar-playing skill.

Check out this previous post from another guitar player and read what he had to say about the Powerball:

I'm sure you can find other posts from guitar players if you do a search. :)

I would definitely look at all the products available on powerballs.com and choose the best package that you can get for your budget. Try to maximize your budget as much as you can. I got the Pro Pack Blue which gave me a 250Hz Pro and a Neon Blue Pro for a great price. These are great choices for a beginner, but you might think about the 350Hz Metal to go along with it.

I wish I had more funds available at the time I made my first purchase, so I could simply have bought the Complete Pack and a 350Hz Metal Powerball at the time.

You will probably want to get as many Powerball models as you can to see which one you like best! :D

For 'normal' workouts Spok I would recommend getting one of the 250Hz Pro models so that you have a standard Powerball and counter to monitor progress.

If you're into LEDs/gadgets/lights (like me!) then you should think of one of the Neons. Bear in mind though that they are 1-2% slower than the standard 250Hz models.

If you're looking for a serious workout then you should definately consider the 350Hz Metal - that is the true beast...

A good choice!

Simply select the Pro Pack Blue from the shopping pages, and if you would like an alternative colour of Neon/Pro please mention this in the comments and we'll be happy to cater for you!

I do play guitar and the powerball has helped me a lot as far as guitar playing goes. I have been powerballing for just over 2 months, the power and agility in my fingers has increased vastly as far as precision goes im not really that sure if thats powerball related i think that may just be more practice than anything but hey ... im only 2 months into my powerballing
hope all goes well .. let me know how it goes

I picked me guitar up for the first time since i started using my powerball (yes, I'd let my guitar sit unsused for over 6 months :( ) and i noticed that I seemed to be using a lot less effort, was very surprised/impressed.
