Hi,

I've spent almost 5 hours trying to start my powerball and I just can't. It is NOT a problem with my powerball. When another person pulls the string it starts right. I guess the problem is that I need more strength on my arms. I have brain injury, all my muscles are very weak. I found powerball can be an excellent device for rehab. Anybody knows about a starter or another technique?

I found ******** starter, but they do not ship to Mexico where I live.

Thanks in advance,
Guillermo.

We will actually have starters for the Powerball in about a month.

Once you sit the Powerball into the starter you simply press the button and it will get the rotor spinning to the required speed to easily speed it up - ideal for first time Powerballers or as a rehabilitation tool.

Once they are available, I'll post here and will also make them available on the store.

Regards

I hope this "required speed" isn't going to be enough to post scores on the scoreboards!

I imagine up to around 5000-6000 rpm, but don't know.

I haven't actually tested that yet - we are expecting to have them in just a couple of weeks so will report in full then.

:D Mod Monkeys will be rubbing their hands with Glee :D

there'll be upgrade pulleys and motors available on e-pay within days LOL

Just kidding;) its a great Idea, we havent even tried thumb starts yet, but the cord ends seem to get caught in the frame sometimes, and the techno at least, definately seems to have 'spates' of not wanting to start/run up, even with the cord....

I've seen another make onsale,so I'm sure it won't take you long to get it all sorted :)
