Drop from a few inches

I just got my powerball and it fell out of my hand while spinning and hit my desk (i was only holding it 7-8 inches above the table). After using it for a bit I started to notice a bit of a knocking sound at lower speeds. Should I worry about this? If its from the fall is there anything that I can do to remedy the issue?

Did you check Q&A under "My ball is making a rough 'knocking' noise - whats up? "? I dropped mine yesterday (first day) and I surely hope it's the problem with the dent in that ring that makes it sound bad :)
