View Full Version : Scraping sound when ball rotates

I got my powerball a week ago and recently it has started making a scraping noise when it is rotating, even at low speeds. It almost feels like something inside is worn or broken or something, I haven't dropped it yet or done anything else to damage it that I can think of.

Is this just due to the normal wear of the powerball or is something wrong?

The only way to find out will be to open the little guy and peep inside - you will instantly see what is causing this unusual noise and we will be pleased to forward any parts that may be required. It is possible that some foreign matter has entered from the exposed part of the sphere and is after nesting inside the rotor support band cavity - please refer to the FAQ section of the site to find out how to quickly open your powerball and proceed from there - regards Rory
