Hi powerballers...

I've recently purchased my blue neon powerball and have been using it daily for just over a week. I started in the low 7k, slowly working my way up to 9100rpm now (which compared to seasoned 'ballers is so measly lol).

Question is... I have small hands and fingers and often find it hard to grip at higher speeds (or what are higher speeds for me lol), and cant help but feel that longer fingers with more reach and a bigger palm would help heaps... does it help? I mean i see Akis holding his powerball and it looks more like a golf ball in his hand. In my hand it's this big lump.

I feel like my max speed is limited by my small fingers. :(

I also have small hands. I don't have trouble with my 250 Hz or neon on balls, but when I use my metal PB I have a hard time holding on to it at high speeds. My hand does not wrap around it like I want it to. I have to squeeze harder which makes the band slip off.

but is someone who has smaller hands restricted to lower revs than someone with bigger hands?? or is that just a misconception of mine??

My hands are probably about average really...I have no problems with the 250Hz plastic, but do have trouble with the Metal, which is larger. I would say that smaller hands are definitely a disadvantage.

You can't really get bigger hands, so I would suggest either;

a) Get some good grippy gloves, or
b) Buy some liquid magnesium "grip" product, like SureGip or EasyGrip. Can get it from sports shops. It puts a sticky residue on your hands and really helps. (I've used it for my Metal and the grip is increasd a hundred-fold!)
