View Full Version : Worth buying a metal?
Hey everyone, recently bought a 250 pro and am very impressed:) Is it worth eventually buying a metal as an 'upgrade'. Does it make a big difference in increasing strength or muscle size? Also I read somewhere there will be another version of a metal? Anyone know anytihng about this?
Cheers,
Dave
The metal produces a lot more torque.
Would hit the muscles harder faster but you won't be able to go as long.
Are you looking for power or endurance strength training?
There are some people here testing a very high speed rotor for the metal that will set some serious speed records. The heavey rotor the metal currently has produces so much torque that you can't hit the ultra-high speeds. If you are using it for strength the powerful heavey rotor could be a good thing. If you are trying to get a new high score then wait for the high-speed rotor or, I beleive the high-speed roter will also be available as an option to existing Metal users if they want to change their rotor out.
Hope that helps. Cheers!

I would personally recommend having a Metal to compliment the 250Hz. It produces three or four times more torque than the 250Hz, and because of this will increase muscle-size far more rapidly and noticeably. Of course, if you don't want that, then just buy one because they're awesome! ;)
As far as I know there's only one high-speed prototype "Screamer" rotor, which I gather Akis still has. He's pushing 19,000 rpm with this!! 8-o
I happen to think the 350Hz is Alien technology designed to enslave us all.:o
errm is that a good thing or bad thing:D
well, we're all slaves of something...
