I was hoping someone could tell me what the first mode on the speed meter is. Also, what exactly is calculated during the Strength Mode (i think thats what it is called, with the arm icon). Thanks!

The first mode gives you the total revolutions / 100 and is cumulative, a nice mode to use when you're just sitting around using pball casually.

The strength mode also calculates total revolutions over the time period you select 30/60/90 seconds

I really wish the total revolutions counter could not be reset. I was only around 450000 but then I let a friend of mine use it and he accidentally reset it. It's not like I cant just get it back up there, but it would just be better if it couldnt be reset and only did after it read 99999

no, it wouldn`t be better. What if you would like to reset it to make a 30 min marathon and see what you do? You would have to write down somewhere what the score was before and after and then subtract it. The best idea is to not let your friends use your precious powerball. If they manage to accidentally reset the counter, i don`t think they have a very good powerballing technique either and they will just knock your powerball out and it will start to vibrate.

What I think would be nice is a hidden option, which, no matter what mode is selected, would count the revs. So each Powerball could have a total-revs-scored value since the Powerball was new.

But then there are loads more options I'd like to see on the counter...they just can't all be fitted on really.

i hope on the bluetooth counter all of this could be stored because well... it will be on the computer and it has lots of memory and a big screen :D

The software for the Bluetooth counter will have loads of updates, and has the scope for pretty much anything. What I have at the moment is pretty basic in that it just records the current speed and draws a graph. However, the software does allow for up to three different counter readings to be stored on the one PC...great for having a couple of mates over, (who also have Bluetooth counters), to have speed competitions.

If your computer doesn't have bluetooth support built-in, you can also get a USB Bluetooth dongle for about Eur30.

Tim has the most basic software at the moment, though we are expecting another version in the next few days which should be much better.

We have also thought about advanced versions of the counter software, but want to ensure that the basic version works for the moment.
