Hi all,

Iv'e been powerballing for about 1 and a half months now and my highest score so far is 12,164 :p

I was wondering if you thought it wasn't too bad since im still a newbie :D To be honest, you can do a lot better.

It looks like you get the counter ready in the 90s mode, flick-start it and then go from there. Most people get the counter in the right mode, get it started and up to speed, then press ON/CLR again to reset the counter back to 90s. This gives you a running start, rather than a standing start. Your first 10 or 15 seconds are going to be wasted as you speed the rotor up otherwise.

What's your speed record at the moment? I would expect your 90s endurance record to be roughly :- your speed record x 1.5 x 80%.

EDIT: Sorry, didn't see your sig. Your speed records are about 10500 and 11800, so an average of about 11150. 11150 x 1.5 x 80% = 13380. If you use your right hand more during the 90s then this figure will be higher though. So I would expect 13500 at least from you! Go for it! ; )

my speed records are similar so i thought i`d post my 90s record to compare :) my speed record is 11725 and my 90s record on a neon is 14097, but i`m more of an endurance kind of guy like Tim here :) my speed is (was is more accurate) on a regular basis is just above 11k, but these days i can hardly reach 10,5k and 13,5k on 90s :/ maybe it's the weather, or maybe it's the 1 month break from powerball to heal the bump on my pinky, i don`t know. I`m going to jump up again to some serious powerball training in autumn. Plus, i started going to the gym in the start of this month, so maybe it will help me to at last break my records
