So, this lil thing is suposed to make me strong?
the fact that this lil thing can train my pecs or my delts I belive is BS
please try to convice me that this thing is actually better then lifting weights for pecs, bicep, or delt... you will however find this to be near the impossible...
what is of much great interest to me is grip strength...
basically I am skinny guy with a weak forarm and I find that weights dont workout my arm in an efficient way...
so basically I wanna know how strong is yalls grip? Can you crush a beer can (full ofcourse), whatelse can you do? And do you belive that this is the right tool to get bigger and more powerfull forearms?

Powerball is a strengthening and toning device for your fingers, wrists, arms and shoulders. If you currently use weights as part of your workout, then you will find that Powerball will enhance your workout greatly. For those who don't use weights, Powerball is an excellent alternative to a weights based workout.
Many Powerball users have a 250Hz model for workouts, and for strengthening and toning your arms, though if you are looking to build some serious muscle mass and further strengthen your arms then you need to invest in a 350Hz Metal with the heavy rotor.
Please have a look at our Exercise Videos here (http://www.powerballs.com/exercise_videos/) to see how Powerball will exercise the various muscle groups in your arms.

the fact that this lil thing can train my pecs or my delts I belive is BSI don't think anyone has ever said that a Powerball is better for training ones Pecs and Delts than weights, but after a serious session with my Powerball I have felt that my Pecs have been worked a little bit.
The biggest "noticeable" benefits for me have beem my triceps, shoulders, and forearms, (though after playing a fair bit of racket sports over the past couple of decades my right forearm wasn't too bad...my left is now comparable.)
Yes, a Powerball isn't a one-piece multi-gym, but you will notice benefits right up your arm to your shoulder.
I am not experienced, but what i can say is : everything is good to take, there exist some stuff to build your grip or your forearm, and powerball isn't a miracle....but it can help you alot, if you use a powerball you will that it helps a bit on sports and weights.....
At least it is a funny game, and powerballing during a long session will give you a "fun" feeling in your arms...trust me (and the others)
I think no one will disagree : Powerball is a gadget first (No dont hit me nooooo!!!!you fool powerballers...^^) But it's a gadget that might help you...look at Akis... (Did Schwarzi use Pb before becoming gouvernor?!?)

...look at Akis...I was going to suggest looking at Cazes Jonathan or Pako Fernandez. These guys only use a Powerball to get into that sort of shape
Not really! ;) :D

well not Pako... Pako does some serious training in the gym every day
I my self have owned such a lil ball for a while, but I am considering an upgrade to the steel version as you say that that one builds some serious strength...
u say a powerball works ur bis, I can hardly imagine that, forarms yes, delts maybe...
however you still havent conviced me that lets say a high score on the powerball is equal to a strong grip

Try using your Powerball as shown in this (http://www.powerballs.com/exercise_videos/video.php?video=Ex6) video.
The trick is to hold the Powerball with the tips of your fingers rather than firmly bedded into your hand. Once you begin to reach those higher speeds you will see just how difficult it becomes to maintain a solid grip on your Powerball!

but the real crushing stregth comes from the forearm, which is what I hope to improve greatly with this toy

I was joking!
Phoenix, when you say "Bis" do you mean Biceps? With the correct grip and arm position I can get my biceps to (what's the word for clench and unclench?) quite rapidly. It reminds me of those electro-stimulation gadgets you can get which pulse your muslces with electric shocks. I don't think huge muscle bulk can be achieved this way...doesn't that require heavy weights and slow reps...but I for one have noticed a marked increase in the size of my biceps. I wish I'd measured them before I started with the Powerball.

yes heavy weight, but not too low reps, keep it n the 9 - 12 range for max hyperthropy, 2 - 6 for max str... I doubt that this lil thing can replace a 120 pound weight... but im only interested in what it can do for the forearm anyways...
so I wanna know how strong all of you powerball fanatics are

so I wanna know how strong all of you powerball fanatics areI've had positive comments about the shape of my arms, but how do you easily measure strength? I know that holding a pair of bathroom scales in my hands I've managed to squeeze about 20 stone in weight...that's about 127 kilos or 280 pounds. Not sure that really tells me anything though.
I certainly wouldn't consider myself strong. About average maybe. :o

lol, so you are saying that you could crush a persons hand if you had to give them a hand shake if what you are saying is true. By crush i mean reduce to bits and peices if you can actually squeeze 127kg in weight.

127kilos its a LOT of weight... i dont really think 127 kilos is the right weight..

yeah exactly i very much doubt that anyone can do that without taking steroids or some other form on enhancer. 127kg squeeze power... thats not possible
i was looking for the crushing of a full beer can or something fun like that

127kg squeeze power... thats not possibleYou're right, I don't know where I got that figure from!! Tried again the other day and it was more like 80 kilos...that's holding some bathroom scales in both hands by the way, not one hand!

that would be measuring the strength of your pecs not ur forearms, right?

heh, today I took heavy old scales and squeezed them in my hands :D got only 55kg... i think i would do better with smaller scales ;)

I don't know really. I wasn't pushing them against a surface, and I didn't have one hand on each surface either, like I was squeezing my palms together...I picked them up like I would hold a tray of food, and squeezed.
there are hand grippers with closing forces up to 365 lbs(165kg); but only one person has been able to close that one...
you need the genetics and extreme training to handle that kind of force.
