i think so but i`m not sure and i can`t say that it does not work as good as powerballs found on this site... maybe it's nanosecond made too... you`ll have to wait for admins to answer

I think it looks like a nanosecond powerball, therefore it might be geniune as such, but isnt covered by the warranty on here.

I ve got my powerball neon blue pro two weeks ago (in France) and on the rubber band it is "NSD POWERBALL-enter-Neon Blue Gyroscope"
and opposite "The earth's most powerful gyro-enter-absolutely revolutionary!-www.powerballs.com"
As i got it from ***, is it a fake? Do i get the lifetime gurantee? (the little paper given in the box tells me it is lifetime guaranted...)
Thanks a lot
PS: My counter stopped working and i tried all, even changing batteries...as i live now in Seoul (south korea) do you know how i can get a new one?(that happened before i unfortunately dropped it...)
As i dropped it... i got vibrations and knocking sound... how to get it repaired??
Thanks a lot, and sorry about the bad english...you know French people... ^_^
Edit: Link removed
Good morning Jimmy,

Your Powerball is a genuine model, and is covered by our parts guarantee.

The best thing is to email liz@powerballs.com with a link to this thread Jimmy, and she'll be happy to help!

The first Powerball I ever got was like the one in the second image above. It was a Neon Blue, and was fine, and at the time I was scoring around 11900 with it. I got a non-Neon NSD one and upped my record to 12006, but I kept the Neon. I think the best I managed with it was around 12600 when I could do 12800 with the non-Neon.
But I've never been quite sure about who the manufacturer was. I always assumed it was manufactured by NSD, but just not distributed by RPM Sports.
I just wanted to give a ***** big THANKS and BRAVO to all the powerballers and the moderators who are really listening and doing the max to help the community,(and me by the way ^^)
Thank you very much....
It must be a real powerball because it has the word Powerball the original. It would be in breech of copyright law if it wasnt a real one. It may be a original design of the powerballs and the design got changed very early when it was only just relesed so hardly anyone has one, that maybe why no-one has seen one.
Hope it isnt a fake , but it doesnt matter if it is as long as it gets up to 15000rpm (with no sounds and withn the same quiclity the authentic powerball does). and it has the same guarantee as The real powerball company.
Cheers
Sorry to ressurrect the thread, but I'm in the same situation, and I'm hoping for a definitive (admin/mod) answer on this issue.
I bought a powerball on a whim (hasn't arrived yet), and it's just like the one from the OP (Powerball The Original). Only after I bought it, I went to read around and found out that the real one is made by NSD, and this could be a fake.
This is really bothering me, since I bought it for rehabilitation/prevention purposes, and it could do more harm than good if it's not a real one.
Edit: For some reason I couldn't see Enda's post before. And even now all posts are "upside-down". This forum is kinda weird
Anyway, I'd still like an answer, since Enda replied to Jimmy's post, not slim123's :p
Hello Kazim,
The first time I stated using a powerball is in 2003, and the logo is different (on the grip) than that of Slim's imageshack photo. Can you link more photos of your powerball or your packaging for us to see?
It may be an older logo, but I am unfamiliar with the logo since my introduction to Powerballs since 2003.
I didn't receive it yet, but this is how it should look:

From the outside, it looks just like the NSD's.. and they have the same models (with or without counter, with or without LEDs, metal..).
I found a report of some guy who sent an email to nsd.com.tw about this powerball, and they replied saying it's legit, so I should be fine :)

You should be okay with that Powerball, and I believe it is still partly produced by NSD. However, this site, www.powerballs.com, isn't NSD...it's RPM Sports. RPM Sports badge their Powerballs slightly differently, give them the 250Hz label, and are the only ones who provide the unlimited lifetime warranty, (which in itself it worth many times the price of a Powerball!).
If your "Powerball the Original" goes wrong, or breaks, you won't be able to get any free replacements from here. (But you will be able to *buy* replacement parts from here, as they should still work.)
Hope that helps.
Good news, the store I had ordered from had some problems and I cancelled it.
Then I bought one from RPM Sports' representant in my country (redirected from www.powerballs.com when I click Store)
