I have been suffering with RSI for past 7-8 months now due to working at the computer. Anyways, only very recently I have found that trying to use my hands as little as possible (outside of work) is the totally wrong way to go about things in term of rehabillitation. The idea is to try and exercise my wrists, forearms etc and get some strength back into them. So i've been using light weights this past week to build up my wrist strength etc. I believe I have already found a slight improvment.

I have just ordered a powerball after stumbling across its supposed benefits and trawling through this forum so i'm very excited to see if it helps me with my condition. I will definitely update on my progress!

Hi All - just an update on my above post! I have had powerball for just over two weeks now. For the first few days my arms tired fast so after 10 minutes gentle spinning that was me. Luckily I picked it up very quickly. Now two weeks later I can use it for 30 minutes switching from hand to hand.
More importantly for me - it has greatly helped my RSI! In fact (touch wood) my right hand, wrist, arm feels almost 100% better when working in the office - right now it feels the best it ever has since my RSI symptons started. My left has also definitely improved and whilst it doesn't feel quite as good as my right, i'm happy. I think I just need to build up my left sided strength some more.
So all in all - powerball has helped me greatly.. 3 weeks ago some days I was quite depressed. Not i'm far from that. I hope someone else can read this and get the same benefit i'm having. If you have any doubts - read through this forum for tips, advise and give it a go.
I hope to provide another update in a few weeks..

I am currently using Powerball to exercise my wrist because I am also working with computer for 8 hours a day and it really did strengthen my wrist, fingers and upper and lower arm.

Recently while surfing the net I came across this upper bod excersizer called the Powerball. It is just a small ball about the size of a tennis ball. It doesnt use batteries, but just Gyroscopic power which can travel up to over 13,000 RPMs generating almost 40 pounds of pressure on your arm. It supposedly "creates massive muscle burn" which rapidly increases muscle mass. Has anyone here tried it or know if it works? Please tell me your thoughts and comments.
