wrist pain

I just got a powerball yesterday. Naturally, I couldn't put it down and used it most of the day. I realize i should have taken it easy at the beginning, but it's so cool. Anyway, now my wrist has a pretty severe pain when I rotate my arm. the pain is on the side opposite my thumb. It feels like the pain is more in the joint and the bones as opposed to the muscle and tendons. Anyone else have any similar pains? I guess I will have to give the powerball a rest until it feels better.

Well, I should say it's perfectly normal..

I always had pain every time I used the ball too much or to fast..
In fact, the hand need to get strong and the skin also..
By using the powerball very often, you take the risk of having these sort of pain.. It begin with wrist pain, and maybe in the fore-arm... It will soon disappear but you'll see that your skin is burning at the little finger..

What I do when I have pain like this is playing powerball at low speeds. So your strengh increase slowly.
All that will pass with time.

Took it easy for last 2 days and my wrist feels much better. I would suggest not trying to reach any high RPM right off the bat.

i'll have to say, after picking one up this afternoon and knockin off 500,000 revolutions in about 3 hours... Oh Dear Me!
Awsome i must say... but feels like i'v bin goin at a hard 5ft bag for an hour lol *sighs*
i'll go slow for a efw days :p

Yea my wrist hurts so bad opposite my thumb on the round knobby bone of the rist it feels like the tendon is stretched to the max it is very painfull. I must admit I used the ball all day for 2 days straight and that must be why I hope the pain goes away.

I got the same pains as well, but i also have pains at the balls of my fingers, i.e. where the paml bones joins the finger bones. Is this noraml for the first few days aswell? hvbase@msn.com

I bought it yesterday and believe me , my hand hurts me today like you can`t believe it . My wrist hurts me and i almost can`t move my hand . This is normal too ?
