I have been using the PB for over 3 months now, without missing more than than a day here and there. But I'm stuck at 12,300. I discovered that by using far less arm motion and tighter turns of the wrist that I can increase the "burn" and increase strength, which then leads to SPEED. Shooting for Top 60 now.

Last April co-workers and I started using the Powerball. At first I could not break 10K. Within a month I was just over 14K. I definately pushed too hard and at times I could not even grip a pen to write with. I put the ball down for the rest of the year. I picked it back up this month and I am back in the upper 13K speeds. Good technique is a must. You will get to a point where you can feel when to apply the power to get the ball screaming.

I found out it was all about technique when i broke my record using my weaker left arm :D still i'm only at 11k but improving all the time

That means either your technique is too violent or your grip is not strong enough yet, don't worry though using the powerball more frequently will solve that as you experiment more techniques and develop a stronger grip

I found that using the strength mode a couple times will significantly increase my peak score. Run the powerball as fast as I can for 30 seconds, twice, then wait 10 minutes, and try a peak.

I'm currently at 14,128 on my left and 14,032 on my right, so it must be working. :)

I've given myself blisters on my right hand and the ball was only delivered this morning!!

Have broken 10,000 but can't get much further yet!

With the techno you can improve the speed by holding the open part face to your palm.

My first day, got 10221 now. Is it normal, that when you suddenly quit at high speed, the rotator starts slipping?

I got 11,169 on my right hand but can't break 8,500 with my left! If I go between 8k and 10k for 30seconds my arms feel like they're full of battery acid...it wears off after a minute or so though

Got mine yesterday and have almost reached 10k and surprisingly with my weaker left arm!

Try keeping it above 8000 for two minutes. The pain afterwards is immense. But then, the next day go for 15,000 and just see how close you get.

Strange... have been a powerballer for about a month and am now stuck to 12052 for right arm and 11861 for left... have been stuck for three weeks o those scores.

I got this ball yesterday, and managed to get 10957 on my first day, and im not incredibly strong in the wrist/arm area. I find it better to not look at the ball and look straight forward, that way you stay more coordinated with the wrist movements, I found that when I looked at the ball, I lost coordination!

Got this bloody PB yesterday afternoon and hit a 12061 score after few attempts but get blister on my little finger. Think the strenght you hold the ball is quite important to transmit the velocity.

Jayo, tried your idea, works perfectly. Was stuck and in one go added nearly an extra thousand to my pb. Cheers for the tip.

i find that by tensing the upper bicep it stiffens teh arm and so creates a a more rigid feel, like the power you're using in your bycep gets transmitted into teh ball more. I'm not entirely sure how to build up the speed though, big to small rotations or constand small. 10992rpm so far had it 4 days

Had powerballs for 2 days 11870 on neon and 12174 on 250 hz. Was only able to get 9000 first time. I break my record about twice a day so hopefully I'll keep it up and maybe get on the scoreboard.

my hands just start to sweat and i can't hold on :(. Ah well tis only my first day with it and i'm loving it ! i tried it with two hands at once and the burn in your arms is just the same as having it in one

The best way to increase your score is to master the switch hand trick.

I've only been using the PW (techno) for a week, my highest has been 12800, a weird 15274 which I can't explain and several times I made the ball lights shut off.

Nice to see all those reactions about Powerball practising. When I started using the Powerball (8th of April) I could get it up to 11k. Now, more than 3 months later I have passed the 14k limit. Looking back I can only see, keep practising and don't get discouraged if you temporily do not seem to make progress (or even go backwards). All of a sudden you will get back to your shape and start breaking your personal records again. Every time I put a record I though, well this is the limit I don't have much more power than this. Strangly enough I do improve every time again. And yes, a good locking grip is part of the trick. A good feel of the force which develops on your wrist and use that as a trigger is a another important thing.

Good record hunting, all of you,
