Yes, I'd participate!
I can't do it but want to see the scoreboard!

Good work Akis.
Somehow I expected you to break my record easily :-)
But you did not take away my star :P

Awesome stuff Akis
Thanks for your comments guys!
I am now expecting at least a 28k from you Steven! :-)
My goodness...all that pressure on meOriginally Posted by Akis

Anyway....first give me some time to get my thumbs healed (it really goes up and down these days.....now planning not to powerball for 4 weeks and see what it does).
But.........then.......... I am definitely planning to
1) Break my left and right handed records (14332 and 14100 respectively).
2) Break the 27000, 27500 and 28000 dual run barriers
3) Break my metal record (12047)
4) Break my 17711 90s strenght index record...
etc
etc
etc
etc
So stay tuned my friend....all in good time :P
Best regards,

P.S. And now be honest with us. How long did you practise before you managed this 30k+ score? I bet you have been trying a lot in order to get the rhythm![]()
Good luck, but be careful not to break your arms first :-)Originally Posted by The Force
Actually I didn't really practise. When I firstly gave a try some weeks ago, I couldn't get coordination, let alone that my left hand was not in good shape. So I didn't take anoter shot, in order to avoid damaging my powerballs. But as soon as I managed a "hot mode" last week, it was a matter of 4 or 5 runs to get 30k.Originally Posted by The Force

Ok, that means that we both did an equal number of trialsOriginally Posted by Akis
I tried also 6 runs in total (spread over 3 days). But the difference is that I managed to get the rhythm right from the start

Hi,
Akis, very impressive your Dual Run!
TheForce, you are also doing very good :-)
I'm also very close to break the 26k barrier. But the different techniques with my left hand and right hand makes me very hard to synchronize them.
Anyway, this Dual Run is a very nice exercise for coordination. And talking about coordination, I'd like to know how r u guys doing with reverse rotation.
My normal rotation is like this: using left hand I spin the ball clockwise, and using my right hand I spin the ball anti-clockwise. Is this the normal way? I noticed that left-handed people do it opposite, like Akis and TheForce, or is it just a coincidence?
So, trying reverse rotation on both hands, I did the following results:
LEFT = 8196 rpm (can't maintain very long, rotation switches soon to my standard way)
RIGHT = 12809 rpm
Akis, have you tried reverse rotation? I think you could also beat us that way :-)
I'm still recovering from my injured fingers. I've decided to rest for some months, and maybe do some reverse rotation to calm down my addiction. That way I can't achieve very high scores and won't damage my fingers. Akis: what do you think about this? Could my standard technique be lost if I do more reverse rotation?
Btw, using my right hand with reverse rotation, I've noticed that my thumb gets more pressure than my standard way. Maybe it's just a matter of trying different grips.

Pako.
Thanks mate.Originally Posted by Pako
I had the same problem, so I had to use the same technique on both hands. And since I cannot produce any good scores at all with conventional technique on left hand, I had to adopt left hand's technique on right as well. I get little lower scores this way, but it works satisfactorily.Originally Posted by Pako
And you can exercise both arms simultaneously.Originally Posted by Pako
I spin the opposite way. But I know some people spinning like you. It's no matter of normal way, it's just how it suits you.Originally Posted by Pako
I am not left handed!!Originally Posted by Pako
Only for exercise. But generally it doesn't suit me. My scores are humiliating in that manner; when spinning reversely I seem like another man.Originally Posted by Pako
Yeah, right! :-)Originally Posted by Pako
I'm not sure about this. You may not hit such high scores with reverse rotation but you get pressure in a different way which may result to burdening your injury. Be careful.Originally Posted by Pako
I cannot tell for sure, but I think it is highly unlikely. Technique is never lost!Originally Posted by Pako
Actually, it's kinda cool to be the inventor of the dual powerball run ;-) Or do I have to share this title with Mr. Dual Flick Start? :-)
