I tried to start the Powerball, and my hands are fairly weak, so I didn't give the chord a good thrust. As a result, the end of the chord remained into the hole and continued traveling with the motor till it stuck and got off the Powerball. Basically it lasted one second. Anyway, now the Powerball is a bit noisy, could I have damaged it?
