    Default Help a beginer please.

I've only just recieved my powerball and am really struggling to even get the thing going. I give the string a good tug, get to around 2600 rpm, rotate my wrist and instead of speeding up the powerball slows down. Anybody got any tips on technique or is there any chance I have a broken one?

try starting off slowly and pull stronger and faster, make it so when you spin it you dont speed up untill you can actually feel the force inside the ball, if you feel nothing insde the ball stop it and start again untill you can feel a force acting against you when you turn it upside down

what will help is once you have got it spinning, immediately turn your hand so the palm of your hand is facing the ground. i.e. horizontal. this helps the gyroscopic effect to come in to play. One of the best tips i can give you is that if you can get the p-ball to spin up when the ball is about to 'die' then you're technique can be said to improve.
