Tape Your Hand To The Ball!!!

Sorry for posting about 10 messages in the last few days but i just discovered something even better than sticking blue tack around the ball for grip.

ITs pretty simple... jus taped your hand to it!! it stops the ball from slipping out of your hand and i cracked the 12k mark for the first time today by doing it!!

Anyways, that sounds pretty funny, i don't think it would work for me though.

Is that not kind of defeating the purpose though? I thought that part of the reason for using a powerball is that it strengthens your grip and so as time goes on you will find that it doesn't slip out of your grip so much? If you tape it to your hand then you're not going to get the grip benefit.

So yes by all means tape it to your hand if you only want to break your past record - but I should think you're maybe missing out on some of the benefits of using a powerball?

I'm thinking that perhaps that he suffers 'sweaty palm syndrome' like myself and is using tape to make sure the PB doesnt fly out of the hand? I myself use thin gloves in order to prevent this.

I don't think so. Not cheating as such. Almost defeats the point of using a Powerball to strengthen your grip though.

You could also use a wrist strap which will prevent you dropping the ball...

About retaining your grip on the ball, the usual thing is to use thin gloves like the surgical ones or washing up gloves.

Personally, I don't think I'd go through the taping the hand bit.. too much hassle to see my high score! )

geesh how many people drop there balls,lol i never once dropped my ball the 250 or the 350.but i do keep the wrist strap on my 350 ball just incase that things was $130 bucks i make sure that never hits the ground thats my pride and joy i take it everywhere.
