The 350Hz Ball

is this a stronger ball than the other?, as in, it wont have things breaking inside or the grinding sounds you get every other week ? i have had numerous problems with my 250Hz powerball

Hmm...

In truth, if Powerball is used as recommended, that is;

1. Not dropped or subjected to sharp knocks.
2. Not used without keeping it firmly gripped in the hand at all times while the rotor is spinning
3. Not subjected to foreign matter ingress
4. Doesn't have the cord jammed inside as a result of being incorrectly pulled and perhaps resulting in the cord tip getting ripped off and getting stuck inside the mechanism

Used, in fact, in the way as is clearly described in the operating instructions which accompany the product when sold ....then Powerball will last (and has been proven to last) for many years.

In fact, I personally have a ball sitting on my desk which is over two years old, is used for over 10 minutes each day and is still almost as good as first the day on which I removed it from its box...simply because I operate in the way it is recommended to be operated.

We do, of course, understand however, that our customers will act with a certain amount of enthusiasm while using their Powerball and that life doesn't always follow instructions by the book - after all, this is an exciting product and is meant to be "worked" as well as enjoyed.

For that reason, we provide our products with an unconditional lifetime repair/replace guarantee which offers our customers exactly that and no excuse in the event that their purchase is used in a way other than intended or in a way that causes eventual damage or degradation.

So, Josh, if you are having problems every other week then please contact us and we'll explain how to use the product properly or offer you whatever replacement parts are necessary in order to get it operating properly once again.

I know exactly what you mean Josh. The first Powerball i had, roughly 2 years ago now, was used by me, a complete novice, and then used by my friends and family who had no idea what they were doing. The result, i was left with a ball that scratched and made alot of noise.
I still have the ball now, and it still works, it's actually quite good for using while i'm bored working at my desk, it doesn't break any records, or isn't as quiet as i'd like it to be, but it works almost like a powerball should, and i'm fine with that.
Recently i got a brand new 250Hz model, and i have learnt to treat this ball properly. It's still as smooth as a babys bum, and is nice and quiet.
I also recently got the metal 350Hz model, i got it out of it's box and i could actually feel what i had paid £70 for. The quality of the 350Hz model is absolutely fantastic. It's quiet, smooth, and gives a great work out. I use it 30 minutes everyday, and it's still quiet and smooth.
In answer to your question, yes the metal powerball has more of a qality feel about it, but it is over double the price of a normal powerball and works in a slightly different way so i think it's kind of expected.
As i said before, and as Rory said, if a powerball is treated like it's stated in the manual, and if the user has practised with a powerball, then it will keep it's quality just about forever.
