I havent been able to improve my speed for a while. I think it's because i've just been using the powerball for trying to get high scores and not actually using it for training.
Will training with the ball more often improve my scores much? And what sort of training do you suggest?

Wow, you've definitely been improving as the days go by. Even if it is gradual. Wow.

Training with the ball properly will definetly improve your scores. You've already got a good starting point with a very nice speed score.
I'd recommend doing a session which involved 2 or 3 90s and a couple of 30s, inbetween do plenty of speed runs.
Also, don't be put off if your score don't improve for a few months. Everyone seems to go through stages where scores don't improve, then all of a sudden they will start improving again.

Thanks guys, i really do want to improve my scores alot. I find that when i really go for it, i seem to make my hand movements bigger instead of smaller. Just wondering what the different techniques are. I remember when i got my PB i was really using my wrist for the speed (making my wrist loose but also keeping a strong grip). I've watched many vids of Akis and the likes, and when they get the big scores it seems like the whole arm is stiff, how do they generate all that power?
I will definetly try some more 90's runs though, did one yesterday for the first time with just my right (i usually swap hands several times) and got 12,793. Are there any other training drills you guys do?

Good News, I finally got over 13k the other day. On the 24th of December i got 13,007 then the next go i got 13,010. So happy. I have some more PB's to report aswell. New 30 Second Record - 5,559 and New 90 Second Record - 15,181.
My main aim is for 16,000 in the 90 strength run now.

Great scores there Hava. 13K is a good barrier to break. Doing all these 30s and 90s sessiosn will really help your scores improve.

I recently got a new powerball just for my speed runs, and straight out of the box i got those last 2 speed runs bests. I'm trying to put off using it for a few weeks and just use my old one for training just to see how much i will improve. Does anyone else have one powerball just for speed runs/strength runs?
