    Default Bluetooth counter problems

    Hi all,

I actually have a bluetooth counter lying in my drawer for quite some time now. My first trials with it were not satisfactory, because the software seemed to stall regularly, but what was even worse, most of the speed runs I did were not properly captured with the device. Only when the speed was already on its way back to low values, the counter suddenly seemed to realise I did something interesting, and all what you could then see is a little bump caused by the decreasing slope .

Well, i now downloaded the latest software (v1.2.37) and the first problem (software stall) seems to have improved, but the second problem did not .

Could anybody please tell me what is the problem, and how I can solve it?
I already tried two different bluetooth dongles, so that cannot be it, does it?

    Regards,

    The Force

i have 2 bluetooth counters, and it happens the same to me: the program rarely catches the real speed

Enda? You told me about new software being made...when will that be launched? And will it solve this problem?

Meanwhile I was using this bluetooth counter for quite some time today, and after a while i managed to actually capture a 13k+ run, but...at the peak suddenly something strange happened. Instead of dropping to low speeds it stayed at that level (until i pressed reset).

So, apparently, the first problem is not yet completely solved either (but it has dramatically improved ).

That really sucks, the bluetooth counter could have been an extremely handy tool for future live competitions. The future competitions won't be as impressive, or successful, without it!!!

I think they could give the live competitions a special tint, but saying that without them the live comps are not impressive goes a bit too far, I think.

I actually completely forgot to say that yesterday's metal record was done during a live competition. One thing is for sure, the gyrotek live competitions are very stimulating and exciting..and your adrenaline levels are sky-rocketing extra high .

It would be great to have Akis joining one of them. Or did he already do so during my period of inactivity?

Hey hey! The Force, you're getting as bad as I am at reading accuracy...

I said it won't be "AS" impressive...I didn't say it is "NOT" impressive...

Anyway, I still wanted to make advertisement for the live competitions

I now realise we are going too much off-topic here.
Enda, please read some posts back about the real issue.

    2 years later....

i just did a forum search to see if if the counter is worth it.

2 years on, and how is it now? as good as the normal counter or still with problems?
