    Default See ya

I think I might take a break from the powerball forums.

I have the Powerball forum on RSS feed and try to answer any medical related questions that appear. I might take a day or two to reply especially at weekends, but I try to answer everyones questions.

But I'm bored. The number of people that ask for some advice then never appear again is getting me down. I don't even know if half these people even read my posts.
It may seem strange, but I care about these people I have never met. I want to help them, I want them to get better.
But they never come on to thank any one. Its not just me, others help people who are struggling to get started or struggling to open their powerballs, then they never even say thank you.
Its indicative of society as a whole these days.

I read with some pride when people on here tell others to wait for me to reply, I know that many on here appreciate what I am trying to do.
But I can't do it any more.
I may be back, but for now, thank you to all those who appreciated my ramblings and see you all soon.

That's a shame, but I can quite understand. I too used to be quite a respected poster on another forum. Went there for ages, but things slowly changed - regular posters disappeared, new people came along who showed less respect and/or intelligence, and in the end I just got bored of it as well. The only times I've been back recently is to mention Powerballs!

You are a well respected person on here, certainly by the people who matter anyway, and though I've never had any physical problems myself, I have always enjoyed and admired reading your posts.

    Take care of yourself.
    Tim.
