Score Reading Problem

I got my Power Ball Techno this morning and have used it several times throughout the day. I have read the instruction leaflet and it says that when a new high score is reached, the LEDs will flash to signal this, and then the score will be shown afterwards.

I have achieved a new high score on multiple occasions and true to what the leaflet says, the LEDs flash and afterwards, what looks like a number score is shown. However because the gyro is spinning i cannot read the score. So as it stands, i do not know my high score.

Am i doing something wrong?

You need to hold the ball loose like the Eduoard technique, another way is to let the ball hang on the wrist strap or drop it onto a cushion, pillow, duvet...

other way is letting it rest in your palm,
second best is gripping it with two fingers only, again not firmly
