    Default Switching rotors between powerballs

Is it safe to change rotors between different powerballs?
For example, putting a rotor from a signature series in a regular 250hz shell, which happens to be what I'm thinking about doing (I think that the white LEDs with the blue shell will look great).

Will it have any adverse effects? Both powerballs are pretty new (2 weeks old at most).
