    Few Scores,

My first try of UPC, will try some more today

    4793 + 8731 + 12206 + 9997 = 35,727 (RH)
    4035 + 6806 + 9810 +9902 = 30553 (LH)

    Cheers, Andrew

had 2 upcs today one for warm up with being 6253+10942+15366+13448=46009 then once i was warmed up and was hitting 14k1+ i decided to go for another trying to pace my self a bit more this time and ended up with a new rh 90s record not that i have tried for one for about 3 months any way my scores were 6284+11604+16398+13883=48169
it feels like i have finnaly found a tecnique that is pefect for speed and endurance now all i need to do is get better at it with the metal

    Wow, good going...50k next?

It's a weird thing, but my 60s and 90s scores during my best few UPCs were often one-hand records. It seemed the 30s was a great warmup for the 60s, and the 30s and 60s were a great warmup for the 90s.

It's quite a thing to find the right balance to post good endurance scores then still post a decent speed score. I was always a bit dissappointed with my speed, but if I scored higher then it just showed I wasn't pushing it enough with endurance, (because it's the 60s and 90s runs where real progress can be made in the UPC Total Score.)

for me if i just try to do a 90s or 60s i end up rushing into it but i find that if i do a 30s before a 60s i seem to be able to hold the speed and find a better rhythm and once im ready to do the 90s i just try to act like im still doing a 60s so i just dont look at the clock until i start to get tired so i sort of trick my mind because if im about half way and i look at the time i think to my self god there's still ages left and end up slowing down

edit:sorry forgot to say thanks and i think 50k is still a long way off for me

im sure you will do fine i never used to be good at them but doing one regularly helped me allot plus they are a great warmup for a speed session
