Cordless start - who can do it?
I have my pb for over a month now, starting to focus on strength, endurance now... but that's not what this thread's about.
Who can start the pball without the cord? Eg, with your thumb. I want to see how many people can do it
I had to practice a lot - at least 30-40 times, but after a while it just works. No more need for the cord, unless my thumbs hurt. I might be stuck at 11.7k now, but it means a lot to me to be able to perform the startup perfectly without the need of ..

As soon as I got my Powerball the first thing I did was learn how to start it by hand because the string is a PITA

Yep, no problem. Used the cord a few times, then by running my hand down the gyro. Now I can start with my thumb, but not with the same hand as the Powerball is in- yet!!

My cousin gave me his old one, and he didn't have a cord, so i HAD to learn to do it without the string, and after i saw Akis do the one-handed start i immediately learned to do that too.

24h after getting my Techno, I'm able to start it with the thumb. I'm still trying to do the same when holding the ball with the left hand

I use the double finger technique. I never use the cord now. its just a liability, as ive got the cord stuck in the motor a few times.
