Reset the score?
I keep trying to restart the high score on my ball but i cant seem to unless it shuts off. I stop the ball, hit the on/clr button and it goes to 0, but then i spin the ball up and if i dont reach my previous score it shows that one instead of the new score?
why?
Also, is it bad to stop the ball with your hand or should you let it stop on it's own with little to no intervention?
THANKS!

Hi phorts and Welcome to the Forums.
For the high score mode. if you stop th eball, and then press the pn/clr button, it should reset the current highscore.
If you dont like this to happend, you should press the button while the ball is spinning. that way you can smash your old highscore with a faster score.
Kind Regards

Like Sayex said the lightning icon stores your highest score reached.
If you press clear while it is stopped you will clear this score.
If you press clear while it is spinning the high score is kept in memory and the counter will record the score on your next run.
If it is a new high score it will flash and the stored high score will increase correspondingly.
If it isn't a new high score it will just show the score for that run.
The score shown will only show a better score ie if your record is 12000 and you are spinning slowly press reset the 12000 will show then it will display your slow spinning speed you do a run and get 10000 the score will show a non flashing 10000. If you don't press clr again and only get 9000 the counter will still show 10000 clear as mud
You can stop it with your hand if you want but be careful it bites and burns. I wouldn't stop a metal with your hand. It's best to just let it slow down on it's own

Erm, for stopping the ball with hand I wouldnt recommend that on high rpms, but my style stopping the ball is with the sides of my pants or shirt or on my bed... or on somthing solid but soft so it wont damage the rotor..
hope I helped little bit,
Regards,
Ron.
