Mine was as simple as a dry cloth to wipe the gunk out of the inner shell. There was a LOT of "dust" in there..I think it may be because I sometimes use it for a few hours (at around 4000 rpm or so) just to train my muscles. (Muscle memory I think it is called..look it up in the wiki :P)

Basically it is teaching your muscles to do the movement without concentrating, this way you can use your brain power to concentrate on speeding up and such.
Trying to get really high speeds is really hard when you have to constantly adjust your spin and angle.

Once again I am extremely impressed with the level of help and the willingness to replace parts by the Powerball.com team!

    Well done guys.

    Hi Tyson!
Ive got to say although it looks like its because of the dust, it wasnt, some sounds were really caused by the support band but now after some tries i belive my rotor got cracked... it sounds like somthing is stuck in a concrete roller or somthing like that.. which causing the rotor to dramaticly loose speed, ive been kept spinning at moderate spin and a new sound came out, like the sounds of the shoes caused at basketball court, u know, like slide stuck or somthing like that... it does it once per rotation which really annoying... im also amazed by the level of help,
    keep doing great work guys.

    Hi Ron,

Just a quick note to say that I will ensure a new techno rotor is sent out asap.

I think a new support band will probably resolve the problem, but would like you to please confirm if the rotor itself is damaged? If you see cracks in the fins particularly please let me know.

Well, Ive just got the rotor earlier this day, Although, like the last time with the support band, part of the problems have been solved, the noise of the "basketball shoes court 'combination' " has been totally disappered but the other noises are still remain, Im now about 99% sure the sphere is the problem since it fell alot and during opening it ive damaged it because ive havnt knew the other way of opening it with punching the sides of it... so ive sticked up a minus screwdriver and pulled it to the sides... caused some serius plastic benchups, well it might have corrupted the orginal proportions of it but some of the issues can be from inside...when ive tried to sandpaper it ive used wood work sandpaper which is alot more scruffy then a gentle sandpaper that ive found later at my dad's workshop... the second noise that has been putting my mind into it sounds like the magnet and the washer connected to it are loose and causing a "chhrp" sound, later today after ive sandpapered the inside of it ive got a sound that ive been ignoring and it became just a little bit more often per use, its almost like the rotor connects the sphere and making it vibrate brutally, like a regular spin that is made is just more louder... well with the new rotor today ive got at first try 10300 and also my hands are quite dead since yesterday after my 10600+ streaks.. the new rotor looks like a new model of it, since the other cap of it has the sign of the nsd site and the electro board looks blue-like than the older one ive got that is green, I could also say that the resistance of this rotor is way more higher then the older one, causing me to make effort, make my muscle work harder, but eventually my technique is way more cleaner then the older one...
last thing ive remembered that is when i spin the ball i almost feel like the support band is actually bumping ( ) inside the sphere, so the motion isnt complete, its like when you try to change directions and theres a slight knock, but this one is a slight knock even when youre spinning to the right direction its like the support band slides inside, causing to loose some speed (about 300rpm's).
Hope youll find this information useful.
    Sincerely,

    Ron

    Hi Ron

In this case the I feel the quickest way to rectify the problems you describe would be to return the unit to our repairs department whereby we will promptly repair/replace the unit for you.

Once we receive it, we will repair it immediately and ensure it is returned to you asap.

I should ask my bro's friend if thats alright, if he will agree ill be pleased to send it over.
also i would like to say without the ball ive die of boredom, seriously, theres nothing interesting in this summer i can do, pb is the only thing gets me entertained.
also ive reminded that i could say the first thought ull get if youll see the powerball will be:"What the hell that lunatic do!?" (well its a known fact, anything i touch = breaks, torn, blows up etc.)

    Regards,

    Ron
