    Default new Rotor

My first rotor is cracked and I get the new one.

But there are some diffarances between 2 rotors . on first rotor there is one hole on both side. symetrical

On second rotor there are 2 holes one is deep the other is not deep.
    and they are not symetrical.

I believe that somthing is really wrong with new rotor because when the metal has been drilled one rotor fins also has been drilled. ? mean the plastic part that support the mill when the metal part is drilled has weakened.

?ts obvious that it will be cracked soon.

hmm, thats strange, as far as I know if it isn't a neon rotor it should only have one hole at the "equator", the one for the string. I wonder if this is one of those newer more rugged rotors that are just coming into use now, if you could take a picture it would help a lot. If you check the thickness of the individual rotor fins, do you notice a difference in thickness to the old one?

I have noticed this "drilled fin" problem before, although usually it doesn't cut much into the actual plastic so weakening wasn't really a problem with the one I saw. If you feel that it is affecting the rotors performance though I think you might need to ask for another replacement. Have you tried this new rotor yet? how does it perform?

    Hope you figure it out.

The first one is a neon rotor,i think its a neon green.
the two other pics are from a neon rotor aswell, but without the leds.

and about the fin, i think its ok, nothing to worry about. but am really confused about the ledless rotor...

thanks for the PM , yeah strange, did you remove the LEDs and the circuit board for some of those pics?. The fins do look a lot sturdier than the current design so it looks to me like you got a newer rotor version.

Could you explain again exactly what your problem is with this new rotor?

Have you tried spinning it up? Have you actually felt something wrong with the rotor? And why did you remove the LEDs and electronics?
    I'm a little confused, sorry :S

well there's just one cure for that problem....more powerballing

Some rotors will end up being slower than others but I am sure that by removing the LEDs you have probably messed up the rotors finely tuned balance and that will most definitely slow the rotor down and cause it to vibrate.

    Keep spinning, good luck
