Video Editing
All right a question for you computer literates out there. If I have a Video with lots of runs on it and I want o just get one run out and get rid of the rest what's the easy way of going about it?
-
if you have adobe preimere , i would recommend that..
but as an after thuoght, if you actually had that program, you wouldn't be asking the question... let me think about that....
you could try VitualDub, iv never tried it on anything other than Xvid movies, but i cant see it not working, just make sure you go to "Video > Direct Stream Copy"
Then use these little black <_ _> to select the parts of the video you dont want and press DELETE, and then save File > Save Old Format
[i think] try all the save features til you find the one that works
Hope this Helps

That works a treat cheers

Alternatively standard Movie Maker would do it. Just import the video, drag it in the time line and adjust as needed.

Never been able to use Movie Maker, no matter what I do it always hangs!

M$ Movie Maker is the Devil!

OMG it is!! I hate Movie Maker. But occasionally, when it is working right, it does crop videos and resize them pretty well. I just got Ulead Video Studios 10 that works just like movie maker, but is a million times better.

In agreement. But cropping a standard video file the most easy and practical way then do it in Movie Maker.
But please don't make movies. Please.
