WORMSS Scores
As soon as I opened the Box, I knew the powerball wasn't working right, after watching my friend use hers, but Philip sent me some Replacement Parts and it actually works now
[thankie for that]
This is after having it working for only 2 hours, so no laughing yet.
Blue Neon Pro
Right Hand: 11,115
Left Hand: 8,974
Unfortunatly, it feels like I have bruised every fingure in diffrent places on both hands, I can barely hold the powerball or even move my mouse without hurting my wrist...
So quite possibly over did it for my first time
... but I have been using this time that I cant use it properly and have now lernt how to Start the thing without the cord.
Cant wait for Day 2 tomorrow, hopfully my hands/wrists/arms will be recoverd by then and I can attack 9k with my left hand
.
The powerball still sounds like its scraping on something tho, even with the new Roter/supportband/washers in there.. I checked the inside of case, and there is 100% NO damage in there, so im not sure what this scraping is.. ow well

Hey dude, you've got a pretty impressive score for first day. But like you just figured out (as does everyone else the first day) it's very easy to over-do it at first! You'll want to take plenty of breaks in powerballing, especially when you first start, if you want your fingers to survive.

He He nice score I like the flashing score thingy. As Installed says ease into it a slow build up is better tan a long recovery. Well Done
-
yeah, i wasn't planning on going crazy with it, my friend warned me about how it can hurt..
but as i finally got mine running my other friend came round and never seen one before.. so we HAD to go into keep going at it.. see who could get the fastest scores.. and well, when we both could barly lift the thing anymore, thats when i realised.. "HUMM, maybe we went a little too far" lol..

Looking forward to lookin' at the thread cos you have some nice scores to start you off. You tired 30s - 90s?
-
i had a go at the 30's, but my wrist still isn't upto scratch, i got around 3770, [which i know is pritty poor] and near the end i ended up having to put the powerball down.. i will give it another go, but im sure this scraping sound isn't normal, my friend gets back from london in a week, so i will have another go with hers, hers was 100% from the very start, and if i get simular records I know the noise means nothing
.
Iv orded 2 wrist bands [one for me one for my friend] so i hopfully will be able to be less scared when going for a high score incase of droping it and so on.

Yeah, endurance is killer... lots of practice with it though will drastically improve both endurance and speed scores, while improving your muscle strength of course. But you do want to start small, with mostly 30s on each hand for now, and take plenty of days off in between.

Right Hand: 11,115
Left Hand: 8,974
30s: Right: 3770 Left: 4567 (+2464)
I love the score on the 30s Left all being consecutive (sp?)
If I could get something that cool in poker, i would be happy [I have NEVER had a straight in poker!]
My wrists still really hurt but as you can see, my left is getting much much better
once the straps arrive, I will give it a PROPER go
edit:
I cant see how you guys do it.. im pratically sweeting after 30 seconds to get the score i am and your getting 6k's, i guess i need a new technique for the 30s attempts.. Do you guys use the Cord or use your fingers to start it or what?

for 30s start with the pb moving, put it on the 30s mode then build up the speed as much as you can then press the on/clr button again so it starts the 30s again, that way you dont have to build up the speed IN your 30s and its legal to do this tactic, then constantly hold the speed you can for the duration.

I also suggest using this program: http://www.stephenknox.com/powerball_strength/
This program will count down from 90s, 60s and 30s for you and will display this on the screen, so you don't have to use a clock or stopwatch.
Make sure you speed up the ball in the 'warmup countdown' period and press the on/clr button when it says 'Reset counter'.
