Default Hello, regarding forearm mass.. :P

I just bought a powerball today and my is it fun.. :P

The reason I bought it is because my forearms.. Well... What forearms? Let's just say that exactly ALL my female friends have bigger forearms and wrists.. :P

So, would playing around with this thing frequently help increase my forearms? It really burns and tires me out real quickly, more so than doing finger/hand curls with a barbell :P

Yes, you'll start out with just two and eventually have as many as six or eight!

LOL! Probably not... yeah it will give you some muscle mass, maybe not as much as weights though, but I much prefer powerball to weights cause it's just way cooler.

    hah, nice one Autolupus

The main difference I have noticed since starting with the powerball (and my forearms were quite weedy aswell) is that the forearm muscles are now much more defined and tighter than they were. You won't bulk up your Forearm mass greatly just by powerballing though, so maybe do some weights as well.

Anyway, powerballing is definitely the coolest and most enjoyable way to train your arms

I don't agree. It gives about the same it's just that weights may just get you more muscle mass quicker and I say may because it may not. I would say the higher you are spinning, the more weights will help and increase your muscle mass because it only goes up to 20KG

Well it depends on which muscles you use and which powerball too...
I think what Installed sayed was meant comperative to the powerball and weight lifting effects towards the whole arm and not only the forearm... focusing the powerball to work on the biceps is pretty hard once you will get used to a technique it will be quite hard to use an other technique to buff your biceps up... also keep in mind that it does matter what is your technique regarding to the total resistance you build up with the powerball because if you maintain below 10k you probably work on about 4k or a little bit more.. and thats what make the diffrence - to work with an existing weight instead of building-up weight...
    Hope youll understand my comment.

    Kind Regards,

    Ron
