about the counter keeping the record

my record so far is 8400 rpm. i think i pressed clr or something cos now it doesnt seem to show my old record. does this happen? i thought it would keep the high score at all costs but it seems that when you press clr whilst over the score it resets back to 0. is this right?

That's correct...CLR stands for CLeaR. If the rotor is spinning when you press ON/CLR then it won't overwrite your record though...only when the rotor is stopped.

I wouldn't worry, if you stick with the spinning you'll surpass 8400 again very soon.
