Hi mitchell101. I'm not too sure about the payment issue, i didnt buy my powerball so i dont know what needs to be done there. Im sure there are plenty of people who can help you out there though!

As for the broken bones thing, it's my understanding that Powerballs are often used for the recovery of broken bones at low revs. My chiropractor/physio sometimes gets his patients to use them when they are recovering from surgery or broken bones. Also, my friend recently broke his collarbone and his physio recommended a powerball for his recovery. (Not the same physio but they work out of the same surgery, probably not conincidence ) So i would imagine that a powerball would probably be good for the recovery of your hand, but maybe not at really high revs until you're 100% sure it's fully recovered.

    Hope this helps!

One of our regular contributors, Physioblue, is a physio and better able to comment.

He is away in Mexico on his hols at the moment I believe.

If you have any doubts at all, see a physio in person so your arm can be checked out and 100% accurate advice be given.

But, like others have said, it is also my understanding that at low revs there are therapeutic and rehabilitation properties to Powerballs.

Quick rule of thumb. If it's hurting more than you think it should, then stop.

Have the 350hz rotors actually been tested at that speed?

    Hi Mitchell,

Powerball is very effective when used in the rehabilitation of broken bones. Because of its non-impact nature it is ideal and should not put the affected area under any strain.

We recommend that it be used at low/moderate speeds once or twice a day for the first month after which you can determine your own workout - possibly in conjunction with your Physiotherapist.

It would be a good idea to speak with him/her regardless for specific advice on your case.
