Default Old, yet New Powerballer introduction

    Hello everyone,

I was cleaning up yesterday and I found my Powerball that I haven't been able to find in a while. Started using it a bit and decided to see what the site had in store for me since I hadn't been here in a while (definitely not this type of discussion board).

I bought my first Powerball in 2004 (a 250Hz with counter) but I did something and the string really got caught in the rotor and I couldn't get it out. Later on in 2005, I bought a new one (250Hz without counter) and use it off and on, basically whenever I can find all the parts to it at the same time.

I noticed yesterday that my hands ache first before anything else even begins to burn, I tend to have as much of a grip on the thing as I can. Hope this gets better soon. I also can't spin very fast, I think when I was using the one with the counter, I got somewhere between 7500 and 9000.

    So that's my introduction *bows*

    Hey Tmbrwolf

Glad your into powerballs and have become a member to this forum! 7500 - 9000 rpm is not bad but can easily be improved if you master that technique I'm sure Keep spinning and practicing and you should see an improvement in those achy hands/wrists.

Very hard to make a scores thread when I don't have a counter on my Powerball to tell me how fast I'm going

If you still have your first powerball then you are able to remove the counter and put it onto your newer ball. There is no need to buy 2 counters if you only have one operable ball.

The counter on my first Powerball got crushed in a vice (yes, a vice) when I was trying to fix it. Didn't work after that, unfortunately.

had to laugh at that , I know all too well that a vice, a will to fix something and the resultant frustration is never a good combination

Getting a counter is a good idea though, will make your powerballing experience a lot more enjoyable because you can monitor your progress

    Good luck with it
