Default Should the Neon Green be green…?

    …because mine is blue!

I ordered a Neon Green Pro from <link not inserted> and it came on Saturday.

The box was sealed, all the counter functions were at zero, the sticker on the box is green, the grip band says green, and the LEDs are green, but unless I’m seeing things, the shell casing is blue.

So is it meant to be blue or green? In all the pictures I’ve seen it looks green, but they all have the rotor spinning so the LEDs would make it look green anyway.

    Here’s a picture;

Assuming it is meant to be green, will the kind people and RPM Sports send me a green casing, or should I just send the whole thing back to <link not inserted, again>.

    Many Thanks.

    Barry.

    Hi Barry,

The shells on the Neon Green are actually blue - just the LEDs are green.

For the 250Hz range there are only two colours for the shells blue/green and amber/red. Depending on the rotor used in the ball it will appear to be blue/green/red or amber.

    Regards

    Enda

Well that's that cleared up, and very quickly too. Thanks Enda.

I was confused when I got it out the box, like I said, It looks green in the all pictures where the LEDs are going.

    Thank again,

    Barry.

yep, its just a blue case but as soon as you start it up the green LEDs make the whole thing completely green. Maybe NSD should start making green cases, would make a nice addition to the range and give people a bit more choice

so Enda, what are the chances of seeing a green powerball added to the 250Hz product line. I think it would look pretty sweet and would definitely get me a couple

I took the liberty of showing you all what that might look like

If anyone wants to see what other colours would look like let me know about i'll render one out for you

    Glad I wasn't the only one .

Typically just after getting my answer I had another quick look and found several pictures showing the blueness of the neon green .

Lucky I asked though, this has turned into an interesting thread, loving the renders there Linus, nicely done.

    Barry.
