Keep at it and you will break your record soon.

Don't forget to keep working the left hand at least as much as your right so it too will improve.

Also, don't forget to rest completely from Powerballing for at least a few days to a week every so often to let your muscles and all recover properly.

    Nope I'm afraid not.
Today I could only manage 10048, so I'm not happy. But I have just remembered that I recently chaned my grip, so if I change it back, then I should get some new records.

Has anyone got any other advice?

Technique/grip is very important. I broke 10k on my left by changing technique. I've got alot better on my right and don't have to shake the Powerball as much as I used to. I'm alot more controlled and can get high speeds using the ball in a circular motion down by my side and can really see what people mean when they talk about high speeds when the ball is hardly moving at all. You can see in my vid how much I used to shake the ball.

Although at the time it was a record and a good score for me it should serve as a guide on how not to do it.

Keep at it and try to build the strength in your arms before going for the speed. Have a good few sessions on endurance at about 8-9k before resting and then having a speed session.

I know you're just around the corner from 11k but it's just waiting for that "eureka" moment when you make those jumps and progress.

The new scores will come when you least expect them! Do you do 90/30s runs at all? (sorry, not read back through your thread). I'm finding that I get a record a few days after doing some 30s/90s runs.
