    Default Counter can't start

    Hi there!

I just got my signatures powerball yesterday!
I don't know how to work well whit the menus, isn't any option to the counter starts counting immediately when the rotor begins to spin?
I guess that on the first times it starts, but now i have to press the button to activate the led whit the counter...

    Thanks.

The counter turns itself off after 30-40secs if there is no rotor movement to save the batteries.

You have to then press the 'ON/CLR' button to turn the counter back on.

When it is on use the 'FCN' button to cycle through the counter modes.

The 1st mode is total revolutions. In this mode the counter advances 1 unit for every 100 revolutions of the rotor, ie 1 = 100 revolutions, 10 = 1000 revolutions, etc. This mode is mainly used by people on longer endurance events.

The 2nd mode shows the current speed of the rotor in rpm and I don't really know what people use this mode for. Personally I rarely use it.

The 3rd mode is the highest speed mode. The counter records your highest rpm for the session and if this happens to be a new personal best the recorded speed will flash at you (very nice feeling when this happens ).

The 4th mode is the strength index mode. The default setting on this is 30s, you change this to 60s by pressing the 'ON/CLR' button and to 90s by pressing it again. This mode records total revolutions in the chosen time of 30, 60 or 90 seconds and retains the score for about 30 seconds (just enough time to grab your camera and take a pic of a new record score).

That's basically it, you also use the 'ON/CLR' button to reset the counter to zero in total rev's mode and press it once in highest speed mode to reset your session score to zero and twice to reset your record score to zero.

I have probably missed something out, but I'm sure others will fill in the gaps.

Good point. I reckon it would be usefull with the bluetooth counter if you can actually see the real time ball speed - especially when doing 60s and 90s runs. If you want to achieve this score, then you work out what your average rmp should be and then you can visually monitor your success or not.

But the problem is that you get so used to the sound... You know after a while if the pitch is this high, then the speed of the ball is this much.

So, the counter won't start unless I press ON/CLR button?

Correct, the counter will not activate from an 'OFF' state unless you press 'ON/CLR' button.

The counter will only remain 'ON' once it's been switched on if the rotor is spinning.

The counter turns itself off after 30-40secs if it does not detect rotation of the rotor to preserve the batteries.
