Hi Pete, I wondered if you can close the Gripper N° 1.5 too??, when I saw the video of you closing the N° 1 for a few seconds, and considering that you were 14!, I thought that it'll be more easy (yesterday arrived the N° 1 and 1.5 to me ), and I cant close the N° 1.5 with one hand...

    Regards!

Never had a go on the #1.5 so I don't know. But I rarely go on them and when I do it's only a few reps each hand.

Oh, I thought that now you had the Nº 3 . I need to train more my hands, the problem is that I have a sprain in my middle right finger, and that Grippers don't help to much to heal

    Hey Guys

Hope you all had fun at the UK Powerball Championships in Telford. I'm gutted I missed out but if there's one next year I'll be 100% there.

I decided to have a little session of my own and managed some consistancy around the 14.4-14.5k mark. I had around 10-15 speed runs at 14.3-14.5k! But no record, best of the day was 14511. Also managed a new 30s...6455.

Heres the scores which I filmed and uploaded and can anyone give me any tips on my technique? Like if I'm going to try and manage 14.6k + what I need to do to change it.

    14409
    14450
    30s 6455

I would be really thankful if someone could run them two 14.Xk scores through powerballyzer for me as mine seems to be not reading at all. Thanks guys.

    Regards.

Nice runs Pete. My reading of the powerballyzer puts them both fairly on par the 14450 was faster. Both have very short peaks around 200-250 higher than the score so try and hold the run a little longer. But from reading lots of runs they seem pretty accurate.

The 30's has the making. For what you loose in the second change over, I reckon you'd be better going for a 1 change. Do it live in the with the powerballyzer. And try and go to 13.5 with your right and hold as fast as you can for 20 seconds then finish off with the left see what happens

I thought I'd have a little bash (no pun intended) and getting consistent which is both bad and good. I got a run of scores in this very order 14512, 14440, 14431, 14394 (30s -- Rest), 14562, 14389, 14320. I also had a 13995 which sounded 14.5k + so I'm gonna check if i got robbed!

I'm not sure how to plan the sessions starting this year. I've put on a bit of weight over Christmas and gotten a bit unfit! I found this out when I had to painfully endure 90 minutes of football today! So I think I'm going to keep it at one a week and if i don't see much records coming I'm going to have to increase the sessions to 2 or 3 a week. How many sessions do you guys at the top have a week?

    Cheers,
    Pete

P.S. Happy New Year guys! Hope 2008 brings many good scores.

Hi pete..., 14.5k!!, your scores are very veryyy good, and you started Powerballing after me...

PS: I Make lilke 3 sessions, and sometimes 4...
    1 x 90 sec = 17.5k+
    2 x 30 sec = 6.2k+
    20-30 x runs250Hz =13.5k+
    5-10 x runs350Hz= 11.5k+

This is my routine... (sometimes a little more, others a little less... )

    Regards!
