17.5k is a pretty darned good RH ed tech! My best is just under 17k from awhile back; but like you pointed out, theres not really any point so I didn't try much harder.

15 and already at 14k!! I'm impressed- I'm 15 and only power balling at 11k, however I've only just started (3weeks ago)...in a years time hopefully I will improve to around that too but it won't be easy... it wouldn't surprise me if you were to break the record; you got the dedication and motivation as well as being young

    Cheers.

I'm resting now, only light powerballing.
So more plastic sessions less metal as I believe I have reached quite a high standard in metal speed, for my muscle mass, weight (10 st) and age. So I'm going to try and build up muscle by doing weights etc. Then re-train on the beast.

Thats what stage I am in right now Pete; I'm doing mostly weight training with a little 250hz action to keep me in shape to powerball. I WILL return though!!

This is all on a 350hz, correct? ... it sounds quite painful

    Correct.

It's not as painful as spending a huge amount of time with the metal
in one session nor is it as painful as getting your finger caught in it at 12K + speeds!

I see its getting even harder for most of the people of breaking the 14k barrier... guess your lucky Pete, as in for your age and for your score
think what could have happen if your powerball was a "functional powerball" which has a sandpaper body (as in the material that are used in sandpapers... garnite and all those stuff ) and then getting your finger stuck in the powerball... just thinking of it makes me say OUCH!
Good luck with hitting 15k... I sense it will come to you by a surprize though..

    Regards,

    Ron

    Cool

    Session today.

Very frustrating but very consistent to say the least.

I concentrated on my RH plastic speed scores and they were in order -

    UPC
    14244 - Best score today
    14220
    14145
    14179
    30s - 6347
    LH - 12850
    14179
    14045
    13960
    30s - 6216
    14161
    13789
    13550

    END

It seems my best scores come the 1st run out of the endurance runs and then went down slowly until i did another one.

All in all new 30s record and very consistent.

    Cya.
