Cool Pete Mayhews Scores & Progress

    Hey all

On the scoreboards I am --

    Peter Mayhew United Kingdom

I've decided to let you know about how I'm getting on and my scores and progress in the coming months. Please reply and comment

I made an excel spread sheet not that long ago so i can record my results and maybe graph them up. This is what I've got so far -

    Dates Scores

    23/12/2006 12352
    06/01/2007 12723
    23/01/2007 13106
    06/03/2007 13153
    09/03/2007 13437

    Heres the graph -

    Heres my endurance runs -

    Date Achieved Speed (RPM)

    27/01/2007 16432
    03/02/2007 16943
    12/02/2007 17055
    16/02/2007 17061
    07/03/2007 17108
    09/03/2007 17209

These are only approximations as I can't remember the exact dates in which they were achieved.

Feel free to chat or boast about scores

    Pete

Another interesting thing I've just done now is to see when I'm likely going to hit such benchmarks as 14K speed 18K Endurance. So i just made a line of best fit on the graphs and extended it out until my birthday 10th June (make me 15) so heres the speed graph -

As you can see I'm likely gonna hit 14 about the middle of May and by my birthday be on about 14300.

    Heres the strength -

The graph indicates that 18K will come at the start of May and on my birthday will be around 18600.

All this is probably going to be really inaccurate but it's quite a fair representation of how my scores are going to go. In all hope .

As the scores get higher it's harder to improve therefore your improvement curve will be straighter and less progress made? Am i right 15 k ers ?

Keep going hard Pete. When I started you were my target now I'm working my butt off to try and stay ahead. I really think the metal is helping my endurance and pulsing technique. Maybe it is time!!

I'd say just about anyone will tell you that that is true.... see I have a hard time believing you'll be doing 18600 90s the day you turn 15. But at least you have a general short-term projection with those graphs.

The line should really be a curve, as when the scores go higher the progress is slower But my targets for when I'm 15 are 14K speed and 18K endurance, which are reachable but way to far away at the moment

only 6141. I'm hoping to improve it and get 12k for 60's. As adrena1in said I think this is a good step toward 18k for 90's. My best is about 11800.

I'm glad I saw this as I got my powerball 2 days ago, I'll write down my top score each week from now on.

    Hey All

I had a Hot Mode tonight.

As short as it was, disaster struck and in the middle of the FIRST 90s run my powerball broke I had it going about 15 secs to go and It sort of made a weird noise then started vibrating extremely then rattling a bit now it's totally gone. I don't know what caused it but i caught it on video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bb3NThtNlV8

I managed a few 30s runs and speed runs with the broken powerball.

Pretty shocking scores for me really but i was using a broken ball
