Took a bit of a break from powerball, and well, all physical activity in general! Had a session yesterday that was absolutely AWFUL! Only two 14k speed runs and other such atrocities... I gave up quite soon.Today I wanted to get in a cardio workout (I can't run since my sprained foot) and thought I'd do some hardcore powerball endurance. It quickly turned into a speed session.
I've always been interested in seeing the pogression of scores throughout the session so I thought I'd try it here, these are in chronological order. This is probably my most consistently high session ever.
14.7k and 14.8k during warmup, then: 15051, 14970, 14896, 14975, 14951, 14790, 14902, 14759, 14877, and 14799 and a few lousy scores are omitted.
Oh, and I made a new left hand record! 14385.
Uploaded two videos on youtube check em out, btw my brother was spinning with me so don't mind him.![]()
well done mate, some really good scores there
maybe you might get a new rh record next time haha![]()
Hopefully a RH record is still in the works. I might need to get one to hold onto my shot at monthly scoreboard winner! Tuomas and Jonathan have me scared. Will try to have a session tonight or tomorrow and see what turns up.
good luck mate, hope you get some new records![]()
Good session today and I'm excited to have had two 15k runs! I tried a dozen or so speed runs after some endurance training and didn't get less than 14.7k once. Three 14.9ks, 15010, and 15046. Out of a half dozen metal runs my best was 1238*, which I am happy with.
I have been doing a little bit of reverse-direction training and happened to get a new left hand record that way: 12.5k. Technique is horribly inconsistent on that hand though, have only exceeded 12k a few times.
Oh and lastly, this has been a very long time coming.... Finally got 10,000,000 accumulated revs on my metal!! Picture to follow soon.
good work, maybe a 15.2k next time?![]()
well done on these 15K's.
