ok so i bought a new powerball, but there was no number counter on the top, are every powerball meant to have them?

The cheapest powerball doesn't have a counter.
Its the "pro" versions that do.
You can buy a counter on its own and attach it at a later date. I would suggest getting the hang of powerballing then ordering a counter.
The cheapest model is supplied without a counter unit as standard - these are the 'Regular' models while the 'Pro' models are all supplied with counter units.
Have a look at the store for a Digital Speed Meter which you can add to your Powerball to monitor scores!
