For video evidence, is 3.1megapixels and 30frames per second a good enough resolution for evidence?

I was wondering because there are some cheap camcorders on a well known auction site and, i woldnt want to get any scores over 14000 and not have it recorded.

    Cheers in advance

That resolution would be ample. A lot of videos supplied are smaller than 320x240 and less than about 10 frames per second. It's the sound that's most important on the higher scores.

Of course, if you want the video put up on the site then it would be preferable if the file sizes were kept to a minimum...like them to be under 7 to 10 Mb really, so people don't have to wait around too long downloading them.
