    Hi GILPI,

Be sure to email enda@powerballs.com, describe in detail the issue you are having with your Powerball. Be sure to include the wording that is on the rubber band around the Powerball, and your mailing information. This way they can get you the parts you need.

Hopefully, you will be back in action again soon.

    Always Powerballing,
    Duane Cash

Hello everyone, what is the regular lifetime of a powerball?
my first one lived for only a month.
I then bought 2, and one of them is about to die.
Only gets to 8000 and sounds like a boeing 747, the same as the first PB.
Am I a powerball killer or every pb lasts for a month?
I read the tutorials, opened, cleaned it with dry cloth, and nothing..
    Any help pls?

    Adam,

Parts should be with you around the middle of next week.

A Powerball should theoretically last for years.. it depends on use, care and technique to be honest. You will find that some Powerballers will go through a lot of parts, and others will rarely require parts.

In your case the most likely problem lies with your technique as a relatively new Powerballer - there is a big tendancy to shake your arm rather than rotating your wrist initially which causes damage to the support band.

The other common problem is with the Powerball being dropped and damaging the rotor or sphere halves.

I would suggest that you check for the following on your Powerball:

    - a worn or damaged support band (white ring). Check especially for enlarged holes at the points where the support band holds the rotor axle.
    - cracks in the rotor (yellow ball). These will generally at the point where the fins join the rotor.
    - ruts in the sphere halves. If you see dents in the track of the support halves then you will get a knocking noise when using your Powerball.

If you do notice any damaged part, please email repairs@powerballs.com with a link to this thread.

Please also include the exact text from the grip-band of your Powerball in order that we can identify the model and your preferred shipping address for the replacement component.

    Regards

    Enda
