Default Hi All!! New here, a few questions.

    Hi all,

I'm an avid musician and have always admired how professionals (such as Flea from the RHCP) have such muscular looking hands. I borrowed my friends' PB for a week and could tell a difference from one weekend of playing to the next.

I've decided to get one for my grandma (shes not THAT old!!), one for me, and a metal one for my big brother (he is big.. lol). Enda, is there word of an x-mas promo code yet? Tryin to leave somethin in me-pockets, hehe.

I was wondering what the difference is between the signature model and the metal one? At the shop page on the website, theres the "signature" class and what looks to be the metal PB, but Im not sure since I havent seen either in person. Also, the metal PB is said to weigh twice as much as the 250hz model, but does it output about twice the torque? My guess is this depends on the internal mechanics, so whether the answer is yes or no, is unclear. Alright, thanks for reading. Merry X-mas!

I've taken a second look at the order page and around the forums, and have answered a few (not all!) of my questions:

Signature is white, metal is metal =P
I was confused because at the shop page (US.) there is an option to get the Signature, but not the metal. Is it not for sale right now? (sad)

    Thanks again.

    Hi Kamesen,

Last news I heard the metal was out of stock, I'm hoping to order a large quantity of powerballs soon as well, but I won't until there are some metals available, hopefully soon!

Hello Kamesen, i read in the forum that there is a discount for the season.
i think it was something like a 16% discount per powerball.
    Hope this helps

I agree, but I believe it was for Thanksgiving. See link.

Anyhow, I haven't ventured trying this code at the moment, and I was just waiting for Enda to see if she had something to add about her earlier comment. Thanks for the warm welcome!

ps. I cant wait to spin that baby in my hands!! It seems the Signature edition comes with a wrist strap and a mini DVD, so I will most likely order one of those to keep for myself. *excited*

So... I have a confession to make!

I went ahead and put an order for the signature edition! I'm really curious to see what the PB can do fitness-wise. Aside from working my fingers and wrists, the PB has potential to work the pectoral muscles. I read that the usual workout regime consists of an hour a day, 3-5 days a week. Has anybody tried a similar regime?

Seems to me like Akis was already built strong before the PB

Well, don't be shocked pal, but Enda is a boy! :-)

(Enda, it seems that every new member in the forum imagine you as a beautiful young lady! :-)

    Cheers

Default Edna - boy or girl

Well I don't know why but I had the same impression, maybe because of the name "Edna" sounds like a beautiful young girl! But now we know - Edna welcome to the Man's world.

It's Enda, not Edna! (When I think of the name Edna I always think of an Evil little Television Set!)
