Powerball for Astronauts?
Recently, I was entertaining the idea of using a powerball in space, and how cool that would be. If you got tired of holding it you could just let go for a little bit, then pick it up which still in middair spinning in front of you. Then I thought that it would be great for promotion if R.P.M. sports could somehow get an astronaut to take one into space with him. Would this be possible you think? After all, it would provide them with good excersize in space, so they arent really weak when they come back. I know it sound crazy, but what if it could be done?

That's what I've heard too. Because weights in space don't work. Don't know why they couldn't have used surgical tubing or something like theraband/jump stretch bands.
Also heard that the Americans put a lot of time and money into the R&D of a pen that would work in space/zero gravity and upside down on earth.
The Russians just took pencils!
Makes me laugh every time I think about it, AND they've Bush for a president!
Here's an amusing link: http://tafkac.org/misc/lighthouse_tins.html
stupid americans. think they're the best. missed a trick with those pencils though
I am not happy about having Bush for a president I hate him and I shall be glad when we get a new one and I don't see much of a purpose of having a pen that works in zero gravity/upside down
its scary to think that the most powerful man in the world is a war obsessed idiot!
Very much indeed bmxballer
Remember, Skyler, it's not 'us' Europeans against 'you' Americans. It's just this spoiled grown-up kid called George W. Bush who gives the USA a bad name. We know it's not the people of the USA who are to blame for his war-game-dreams. Just to let you know we're on your side, lad.
