Faster powerballer ?
Do u think its possible there are faster powerballers out there than akis that dont even realize there is a scoreboard on here or just are too lazy to post a vid or pic ?
I think the possibility is there but u can never be sure, all it takes is a trip to the home page to see that "world record" right infront of u and realize maybe you are the one spinning faster and just never knew....
thats almost what happend to me, I came on the website and had a look at the score board for the Metal league and my score would put me in the middle somewhere, so I decided to submit it
I've had this discussion with Dennis, and he pondered the possibility of a farm-boy somewhere, in a remote area, with no computer access and perhaps no knowledge of even the Internet, but with an old Powerball which he spins at 16k or 17k to work his muscles for the next day's farming.
Does make you wonder.
In a sport like this it is always very likely. It isn't that well known, and of those that do powerball i bet only 25% or less even know about the scoreboard.
Yeah, it's kinda fun to speculate on this. I presume there are a lot of people who will turn out to be very good at a certain sport if they only knew about its existence. I mean, PowerBalls have been around for only a few years now. Akis just 'accidentally' ran into one and happend to be a supernatural. I'm sure there must be more like him out there...

And like you said Dennis, theres gotta be lots of people in the world that if they even had a powerball, and practised as much as Akis, could probably beat him.
I can imagine this being the case for a select few people out there, but you can already see from this board that there are a lot of very good powerballers and yet so few people have even surpassed the 15k mark. I must say he's exceptional in that regard. But without the combination of natural talent, and the hard work, the select few people that have the opportunity to push powerballing that far will never emerge. But that just means I get to have a higher rank overall!

Its really impresive...
what i had on my mind was more someone just went out to a "sports store" .. or whatever, happend to be convinced to buy one and has no ide that spinning maybe 16k+ is a fast speed .. to him or her it may just seem to be normal :P
would be pretty cool to be that person and suddenly jump on here and realize what is happen
